Today's Red Carpet MVP is Rachel Weisz. Weisz's new film "The Whistleblower" turned heads at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film premiered at TIFF and stars Weisz as a police officer from Nebraska who uncovers a sex trafficking scandal being hidden by the U.N. The story is based on the real-life experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac. The film also stars Vanessa Redgrave and Monica Bellucci.
Today's Red Carpet MVP is Claire Danes. Danes was a big winner at Sunday's Emmys. Not only did she rock an Armani Prive beaded gown, byt she also brought a lot of attention to the HBO film she won for, "Temple Gradin." In the movie, Danes portrayed Temple Gradin (who was in the audience) who worked to promote the humane treatment of animals at slaughterhouses and ranches. Way to go, Claire!
Red Carpet MVP identifies which celebrity is being talked about on the red carpet. Fashion chatter, casting news or box office success - we identify who is hot on the red carpet each day to crown the daily "MVP".
