Rachel Roy is today's Red Carpet MVP. The fashion designer is jet-setting this holiday season and if she gets her Christmas wish, she will be doing it in style! Roy told WWD.com that she hopes to get a private jet for Christmas. She also mentioned her New Year's plans are to spend the holiday in Jamaica with her two daughters.

Today's Red Carpet MVP: Lindsay Lohan

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Lindsay Lohan. Some controversy has arisen over the actress and Charles Casillo's new film, "Dogs in Pocketbooks." The movie is about a young actress who struggles with drugs, alcohol and the paparazzi. Casillo originally stated that the film was based on the life of Lohan, but now he insists that the movie is a spoof of many starlets like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. The Lohans have taken the movie concept personally, however, and are considering legal action.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Natalie Portman. The Golden Globes nominee's publicist has confirmed that Portman is engaged to ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied and is pregnant with her first child. Portman is nominated for a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in "Black Swan," which is where the couple met.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is award-winning fashion designer Tory Burch. The mom of 3 boys tells WWD.com that her holiday plans include taking her boys to Mexico with her mother (Reva, for whom Burch's signature shoe is named after), her brothers and her brothers' families. Burch explains that her favorite Christmas tradition is trimming the tree with her sons. She said that she was thrilled that they only broke 4 ornaments this year!

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Natalie Portman. EW.com reports that in a trailer for the new Portman film, "Your Highness" (starting Danny McBride, James Franco and Portman), a scene was digitally altered. In the movie, Portman is seen wearing a thong bathing suit. However, in the trailer, the bikini is enhanced to cover more of her toosh so that the trailer would be acceptable for theatre previews. Oh, the Portman buzz is intense these days, no?

She stars as country singer Kelly Canter, who is trying to rebuild her career after being sent to rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. The movie will be released everywhere on January 7th.

Anne Hathaway and James Franco have been chosen to co-host the Academy Awards on February 27, 2011. The two actors are immensely talented, having starred in a range of dramatic and comedic roles that appeal to both the older and younger generation. Coincidentally, Franco and Hathaway may be nominated for their roles in "127 Hours" and "Love and Other Drugs" respectively.
