Today's Red Carpet MVP: Hailee Steinfeld

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Hailee Steinfeld. Steinfeld impressed audiences and the Academy with her performance in "True Grit" and may now be moving on to other projects. The 14-year-old rising star, who is nominated for an Academy Award for Best Support Actress, is being considered for the lead role in an adaptation of the upcoming novel "Forgotten." Although nothing seems certain yet, reports are in that the film is being developed with Steinfeld in mind. The story follows a young girl whose memory is erased every night, but she wakes up with memories from her future.

Today's Red Carpet MVP: Rihanna

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Rihanna. Not only did the superstar celebrate her 23rd birthday yesterday, Rihanna also headlined the halftime show at the NBC All-Star game. She performed some of her hits like "Umbrella" and "Only Girl (in the World)" to an audience of star athletes, entertainers, actors and of course, fans, all at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Drake and Kanye West also joined Rihanna throughout her show for "What's My Name?" and "All of the Lights" respectively.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Celine Dion. The 42-year-old super star is a brand new mom (twins Eddy and Nelson are almost 4 months) and she is getting ready to go back to work. She is back in Las Vegas, with her performance schedule set to begin March 15th. Dion will give a preview performance at the Oscars on February 27th.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Michelle Pfeiffer. The actress is in talks with director Tim Burton for a role in "Dark Shadows." Based on the gothic television series about vampires, the film currently has Johnny Depp set for the lead role as Barnabas Collins. Pfeiffer would play the Collins matriarch who has not left the family mansion since her husband disappeared 10 years earlier.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Marion Cotillard. The Academy Award-winning actress (who is expecting her first child this April) has signed on to join the cast of "The Dark Knight Rises." Cotillard will be reuniting with her "Inception" director, Christopher Nolan. According to EW.com, the cast also includes Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Selena Gomez. The Disney star is nominated for several Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards including Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer. Known for her role on "Wizards of Waverly Place," Gomez is only 18, but is one to watch when it comes to turning heads on the red carpet. At last year's Kids' Choice Awards she stole the show in a short yellow belted dress. This year's awards show will air on April 2nd.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Julia Roberts. Roberts is taking a break from her good girl image to step into the shoes of the evil queen in a film based on Snow White. Several projects based on the fairy tale are in production. This one, directed by Tarsem Singh, is set to start filming in April. In this version, Snow White joins with the seven dwarves to take revenge on the evil stepmother who killed her father.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Donna Karan. The innovative designer is offering a virtual trunk show for her fall collection. WWD.com reports that Karan's runway collection "will be shown live on the 'what's new' tab on the company's Facebook page on Monday at 2 p.m. Then customers can preorder, via NeimanMarcus.com as of Feb. 22.... The looks that are reserved will be shipped around mid-August." The new Facebook trunk show is part of the latest in the Karan-Neiman's exclusive.

Today's Red Carpet MVP is Christina Aguilera. The Grammy Award-winning singer perfomed the National Anthem at yesterday's Super Bowl. And while Aguilera flubbed some of the words (she later apologized for doing so!), her rendition was so moving, the cameras caught many of the Steelers and Packers players crying on the sidelines. Her all-business black skirt suit was low-key for Aguilera, but her razzle dazzle stilettos reminded us that she knows she's a star.
